NASCAR has been a popular attraction since its inception in 1949, with many fans still flocking to its race tracks today. In the early 90s, star drivers like Lee Petty and Herb Thomas were the names around the sport, but this era has come with Tony Stewart and Jimmy Johnson among the top-tier drivers.
Every decade of NASCAR schedule has had great stars from the sport’s humble beginnings all the way through to today. Some drivers are multi-champions and pride themselves on bagging impressive wins.
The star drivers in the NASCAR Cup series will unsurprisingly try to conquer greater miles at the Dover International Speedway. For a quick flashback, one of the teams that are anticipating the race is Hendrick Motorsports. They came fourth with a 1-2-3-4 finish in May 2021 at Dover. William Byron, Chase Elliott, and Kyle Larson are also expected to be in contention for the race, including the reigning Cup Series track champion, Alex Bowman.

What’s Expected of the Hendrick Cars?
Will Hendrick replicate last year’s 1-2-3-4 finish? The Hendrick cars will most likely be the centre of attention because of their fine touch 12 months ago. A few veterans who understand and fancy the cup series circuit can bank on their previous success at Dover to predict a positive performance at Victory Lane. On the race odds charts: Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott, William Byron. DuraMAX Drydene 400, Alex Bowman, and Denny Hamlin dominate the top of the first five odds chart for the DuraMAX Drydene 400 on Draftkings sportsbook.
Larson and Bowman led the majority of the races a year ago, with Bowman leading for 98 laps and Larson leading for 263 laps. Byron also led a lap in the race, leading the pack ahead for 21 laps that became the third-highest total. Byron is right behind Bowman, Larson, and Elliot with four top-10 placings. The Hendrick cars have mastered good competition all season, and it wouldn’t be surprising if they left with more laps in the Dover.
Hendrick Drivers Have a Winning Chance
Will Hendrick drivers with a great record of racetrax winning have the odds at Dover to triumph? Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick, and Martin Truex Jr. do not drive the Hendrick cars but have a high chance of joining the mix for a victory. Busch won once in 2017 and, like the previous three drivers, has a good chance to win again this season. He tied with Elliot with 7 for the best top 10.
Havoc has three monster MIV victories since 2015, and another victory in The Office season will do him good. Truex also has a good chance in the Dover race, as he finished second behind Denny Hamlin and Harvey in the 2020 Cup Series circuit. He had his 2016 and 2019 victories, and this season will just be another opportunity to secure an automatic triumph.
The dominance of last year’s season is still fresh among fans as people anticipate a continuation of the normal results for Hendrick or any other good racer. All the other drivers also have decent winning odds, and their experience makes them a good alternative to the Hendrick drivers.
