Carbon reporting has moved from voluntary to obligatory for a growing set of organisations, and the fleet is usually a large share of the number.
Where fleet sits in the categories
Fuel burned in vehicles you own or lease is direct emissions, which is the most scrutinised category.
Electricity used to charge is a different category, with its own factor depending on the grid or the tariff.

Consumption per vehicle rather than per card, which allocates emissions to the right cost centre.
Distance by vehicle, for intensity measures.
Split between vehicle types and sites, which is what any reduction plan needs.
And a year-on-year comparison that is like-for-like, which is the part most reports cannot do.
What to avoid
