Step 1
Open your app
If not already installed on your phone, the first thing you would need to establish is WhatsApp. Then open it to see how it works.
Step 2
Chat tab
Here on your screen chat option would appear in the upper left corner. From here, you can open that desired person’s chat whom you want to share your location with or the group where the place is to be sent. If you haven’t chatted with that person before, you can open a new message on the button on the right corner of the chat page.

Paperclip icon
Once you have opened the chat, you will see a paperclip icon on the bottom of the screen.

Location
By clicking the paperclip icon, many options on your screen would appear like document, gallery, camera, audio, contact, and location. Now you have to click on the spot.

Send your location
A map would appear on your screen by clicking on the location option, and you will find your location option under the map. Now two options will appear on your mobile screen one is to share your live location, or the second is to share the current location. The live site allows you to share real-time locations for the specific time set by you means if you want to share a place for 10 minutes or 2 hours, it’s totally up to you. Click this option, and a map will be shared indicating the red dot as your current location. Whatsapp would ask your permission to share your site if not already given.
If you are an iphone owner or using any person’s iPhone to inform about your location, then the following steps would be required to follow to share your site. The first thing you need to do before transferring your area is to turn the location on, and this can be done by opening the privacy option on your mobile and clicking the location option.
Open the chat
However, Open the WhatsApp chat on your iPhone. And click the desired group or person you want to share your location with.
Arrow icon
So, you will see an arrow on the bottom left corner of your mobile screen, click it, and many options will appear on the screen like share photo/video, photo/video library, share contact and share the location.
Share location
So, click the share location option, and a map will appear on your mobile. And an option saying share your location and share your live site. Sharing current locations only allows you to send any location you choose from options. But sharing life permits you to allow the length of time you want to share with anyone.
