I have tried many market scrubs but none suit my skin so I decided to make a natural sugar scrub with my favorite ingredients like vitamin E, lemon, oils, aloe vera gel, etc.

Let’s gather ingredients to make a sugar exfoliator.

  • Sugar
  • Lemon 
  • Olive oil/ almond oil

Preparation

First, squeeze the lemon juice by cutting the lemons in half and moving it into a glass jar.

Now add sugar and mix well but don’t melt all the sugar in the lemon juice.

Now start adding a few drops of almond oil and keep stirring.

Your sugar face scrub is ready.

Sugar scrub for hands and feet

Our hands and feet also want care so make a scrub to remove sun tan black marks as well as tighten your skin.

  • Sugar
  • Coconut oil
  • Baking powder
  • Water (if needed)

Take a small glass bowl and mix all the ingredients in it.

Your sugar hand and feet scrub is ready.

Brown sugar scrub 

  • Brown sugar 
  • Coffee
  • Tomato juice

Brown sugar is a natural skin exfoliator and coffee fights all skin problems like acne, pimples, and blackheads and has anti-inflammatory properties.

Tomato juice helps to Get Rid Of Dead Skin, Reduces Oiliness, Prevents Acne, 

Tightens Pores, Acts As A Natural Sun Protectant, Treats Sunburns, Soothes Irritable Skin so these ingredients work well together on our skin.

Gather these three ingredients in a bowl and mix to get a thick paste.

Now apply it to your skin and massage in a circular way for 10 minutes then rinse with lukewarm water.

Sugar milk scrub

Just like sugar, lactic acid in milk also contains alpha hydroxy acid that eats the dead skin cells and makes it more clear and clean.  And honey is also a natural moisturizer and hydrating product. So, let’s make it at home by gathering these three products:

  • Sugar
  • Milk
  • Honey

Mix these three magical ingredients in a glass bowl and mix well to make a thick paste. Now apply it to your wet skin and massage in circulation for about 10-15 minutes then rinse it with lukewarm water.

Natural brown sugar scrub

If you have a skin massage cleansing milk so this DIY is for you just take the cleansing milk in a glass bowl and mix the brown sugar in it and mix well to make a scrub-like paste. So, it’s ready to remove your dead skin cells.

Sugar Vanilla scrub

  • 1 cup of sugar
  • Half  cup vegetable almond oil or V-6
  • Half  teaspoon of vitamin E (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 15 drops  of lavender essential oil 

Vanilla has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties and helps to remove scars and breakouts and vitamin E is essential for skin treatment.

How and when to use the sugar scrubs

It’s good to use fresh homemade scrub, not the scrub that you saved in a container 3-4 days ago. So, make fresh scrub before taking a shower.

If you scrub before showering on a wet body so that it can work perfectly and remove dead skin cells and after the shower, your skin becomes more healthy.

Use these scrubs  2-3 times a week with the following method.

Take the required amount of sugar scrub and rub it on the areas of the body you wish to treat.

Apply a thin layer to them and perform gentle circular massages to facilitate the removal of dead skin.

Wait five minutes for it to act and remove the excess with a soft towel.

Rinse with warm water and finish by applying a moisturizer or toner.
